Fun fact: did you know that Pinkpop is the oldest festival in the Netherlands? Throughout the years they have had some serious headliners, it’s almost hard to believe that the festival happens in a tiny town in the south of the Netherlands. As a proud southern girl I obviously visited the festival several times, and this year I was finally able to go again! Check out my looks and some of the vibes below:
Day 1: Foodtrucks are life
The first day I was so busy with exploring the festival area, that I forgot to make a lot of pictures. Sorry, when I see that many awesome foodtrucks… I just get really distracted. Anyways, as you can see I’m wearing one of my current favorite outfits (all Ivy Revel), this time combined with a body chain (Hunkemöller) and boxerbraids to make it more festival-ish. I wore the bodychain backwards to emphasize the open back of the top, styling tip!
Best performances: Chef’Special, Kensington and Justin Bieber
Day 2: Pink for Pinkpop
As you can see, I took the name of the festival very serious on Day 2. I got this dress from Ivy Revel (yes, again) and I got inspired to spray my hair pink (love you colorista). However, I wasn’t very talented so it looked like a total mess at first, which I managed to fix by braiding the worst parts and making 2 small buns (festival points!)
Actually, I’m surprised how well it turned out in the end. I got lots of compliments on my hair and the dress made me feel like a festival vamp. I was SO ready for Sean Paul, getting my reggeaton ON.
Best performances: Gavin James, James Arthur, Broederliefde, Sean Paul, Imagine Dragons and Green Day
Day 3: 70’s Vibes
It was going to be a HOT day, so I figured it was the perfect moment to finally wear this new bikini that I’ve been craving to wear ever since I got back from my HKM Croatia trip. Combined with the flared jeans (they are vegan btw, so cool!) and the cropped jacket from Vila I didn’t feel all too naked haha.
Best Performances: Sum41, Liam Gallagher and Passenger
Which outfit would you like to wear?
Lots of Love,
Lynn
P.s. If you liked this post, make sure to also check out the festival shoot I did for Hunkemöller!
