After visiting my family in the cloudy UK, I was very happy about my next trip: Spain! This week I spent all my days roaming the area around Begur, a beachtown in the north of Spain. It wasn’t only great to finally get a taste of summer again, I was also very excited to finally wear my new spring/ summer looks!
Tip #1: Tamariu
During the day me and Alex walked through the village to make pictures of the houses and the beach. They are still so authentic, and have lots of colors! P.s. Tamariu is right next to ‘Aiguablava‘: a beach which is known for it’s beautiful blue waters. If you are in the neighborhood it’s definitely worth a visit!
Shirt: Colorful Rebel
In the evening we went to a restaurant right on the beach called ‘Es Dofí’ (which is Catalan for ‘The Dolfin’). They always have fresh catches of the day, kind and fast service, and delicious food!
Me and Alex followed the path from Llafranc to Calella, which gives beautiful views on the ocean, as well as on cute little towns. The paths are easy to walk, which makes it a really relaxed experience.
Obviously, you can also opt for some extra adventure: me and Alex climbed around the rocks for even more beautiful views on the water.
Tip #3: Sa Tuna
Last but not least! Sa Tuna is another beautiful beach town close to Begur. Perhaps even my favorite because the houses are super colorful and the water very blue. Take flipflops though: this isn’t a sand beach and you might hurt your feet on the little stones.
You might have noticed all the bird- eye pictures in this blog. That’s not just because I took them from higher point of views, but also because me and Alex experimented with a small drone from TRNDlabs. How cool is that?! We had a lot of fun testing it with making pictures. The next step is gonna be videos!
I really enjoyed this week: a perfect mini vacation with lots to see and to do. I even went into the sea once! The water was still a bit cold, but I just had to get in there with so much bright sunshine. Vacay vibes: ON
Have you ever been in the north of Spain? Let me know if you want any other travel tips this summer!
Lots of Love,
